A bit about me
I have been a year-round islander for 6 years. My story with Nantucket begins, as so many do, with what was supposed to be "just one summer on island". The rest is history.
As an avid skier, I never thought I would have found myself living surrounded by the ocean but the draw of this beautiful landscape is irresistible. Inspiration is truly everywhere.
Education
I graduated from Colby College with a degree in Photography. I have always been enamored with photography and what images can tell us- whether in magazines, history books or personal photo albums. I believe they can reveal more than words.
Awards
In 2015, I won the Colby College President's Purchase Prize for my work Gray Area. One of the photographs from my show was chosen to become part of the school's art collection and be displayed on campus.
It was one of the best days of my life. The feeling that I had let my creative mind fly and in turn justified by the enjoyment in others is pretty satisfying. Here's a little preview.
